Salvadoran food. Loved the Soup de pata cow food soup! Hidden local ghetto fab shop. They don't speak much English so be prepared to point. SO got pupusasand didn't like it as much as next door, but it was larger in quantity here.
It was a bad experience, I order a lot of items and they said they don’t have it they only serve pupusas very bad service a little kid work and they don’t know nothing
David La Salsa Restaurante business owner is one of the kindest people I have met in the restaurant business. I tried their bean pupusas and platanillo dish and I was impressed by how authentic the food tasted. I definitely recommend and will be trying more of their food soon! :
Worst waitress I've ever had period. I forgot her name, but she is a small salvadorian lady with no eyebrows and a forehead the size of a football field. Overall the food was good but this lady blatantly ignored me and my family. I said excuse me several times as she came and went past us. And what was astonishing was the fact when I got out of my chair stood in front of her and said excuse me hello. She literally walked around me and ignored me. So I ended up following her to the kitchen and getting in her face just to ask a simple request that would have been really easy to answer in the first place. I get that working christmas at a awful job is not your idea of a career, especially when your kids are in the kitchen because you cant afford a babysister. But you should at least acknowledge the customers. I ended giving the lady a 5 dollar tip cause I felt that the money would go towards getting her kids some proper clothes.
I decided to purchase food from here, because I wanted to try something new. The food was ok. They overcharged me for two items, and then they forgot to put beans and avocado on two of the plates that I bought.
They are running a side business. Two guys sitting outside making transactions with sketchy people coming by. The lady working in the restaurant knows and sees what is happening. This is a bad area as is but I would stay away from this shady restaurant.
Very Mexican. Great Place.
