The worlds largest Sun Mirror, which is to bring sun the a historic Rjukan during winter time shadow.
The famous Sun Mirror in Rjukan is three large computer crontrolled heliostats which brings the sun from 750 meter o.s.l. to 300 meters at the town square, on the day 100 years after the idea was born in a newspaper writing by Oscar Kittilsen.
Rjukan is on UNESCOs' tentative heritage list, and will be candidate for 2014.
Rjukan is also famous for the building from scratch in few years by the wrld reknown fertilizing company Norsk Hydro, and the four famous heavy water sabotages during the World War 2, preventing Hitler in getting the atomic bomb.
Soon there will be made at least three film and TV-series about it!
