Het Station Finse is het hoogstgelegen spoorwegstation van Noord-Europa. Het ligt op 1.222 meter hoogte aan de noordkant van de Hardangervidda, in het plaatsje Finse in Noorwegen.Het station ligt aan de spoorlijn Bergensbanen van Oslo naar Bergen. Veldig interessant sted til turister som kommer fra Sør Europa for eksempel. Det er helt vanlig at blir snø i Juni
Came here to have a good time which I indeed did. Although was surprised by the sudden short-lived blizzard, the view was breathtaking and wasn’t too difficult to walk around.
Warm, dry and has a clean toilet. Not much else.
Stunning landscape views everywhere you go! Totally amazing place, incredible tundra environment. Very good place to trekking and any outdoor activites, but also very demanding if it is going about equipement. Absolutely must seen in Oslo-Bergen journey!
The area is serene in the winter while the hotel is closed. But beautiful and a simple hike to see the areas where the Hoth scenes were shot in Empire Strikes Back. Be careful if hiking out without a guide and stick to trail markers.
Beautiful landscape, neat buildings, especially 1222 Hotel with the train car built into the building. It was summer so I didn't get that Hoth Planet from the Empire Strikes Back feel but still cool. :
3 Para D Coy, waiting for the train after a 50km Ski march across Finse 1997. Beautiful place, this was the clearest day we had whiteouts up in the mountains, would love to go back someday
Quiet, Clean nature.
A snow storm does not let me see the landscapes and the glacier... But I will come back! Regards :-
