It is a pretty beautiful waterfall. Even though there are too many waterfalls in Norway, this one is pretty good too. But just like stopping by for 5-10 mins. This is a very unique attraction with easy access. There is no climb at all. I won’t even call it a walk. you can go behind the waterfall to appreciate the power of the nature. Absolutely amazing powerful waterfall about 30 miles inland from Bergen. You can actually walk behind this waterfall and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. Really nice souvenir shop next door with tables outside to have refreshments. Only thing I'll say I went there today and the buses are running on holiday times day after Nationaldagen May 17 so I was sort of a little stranded for a couple of hours and I had to walk a couple of miles into Norheimsund where i could get a bus back to Bergen but that was just poor planning on my own part and wasn't a problem as Norheimsund seemed a stunning place too. If you have a car or hire car you ain't going to have any problems whatsoever.

Nice waterfall and area. Parking is easy and free. Souvenir and coffee shops.

Great waterfall because the steps take you behind the water curtain. It's busy but so worth it. The drive to steindalfossen is also scenic. Highly recommended
