Steinshamn is the administrative centre of Sandøy Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located at the northern end of the island of Harøya. There is a causeway that connects Steinshamn to the neighboring island of Finnøya to the northeast.The 0.58km2 village has a population (2013) of 493, which gives the village a population density of. Harøy Church lies about to the south and the village of Myklebost lies to the south.
