Historie

Strix Television AS was established in 1998 and is now one of the leading production companies in Norway. Strix is behind success stories in modern Norwegian television history with hits such as Robinsonekspedisjonen (Survivor) and Farmen (The Farm).

Strix was the first company to produce reality series, and the company has for a long time worked to set the standard of the reality genre. We are also producing current affairs programs like Insider for MAX, and recently we have been producing programs in the scripted genre like the sitcom Sara & Selma for TV2.

Strix is one of the Norwegian companies with the most inhouse-developed formats amongst its productions. Over the last years, Strix has developed and produced formats such as Til toppen av Norge (Over the top), Søppelkongen (Paradise lost), Alt for Rognan (All for One) and Anno.
