Came here with my daughter who had a fall injury and as American tourists we were scared of the medical experience. However I did know that the Norwegian healthcare system is vastly superior to the American one. We had a great experience here. The doctor saw us in 5 min AND didn’t charge us for the visit. The visit was only about 15 min long and no tests were necessary so we had peace of mind knowing there was no injury. After examining the injuries and symptoms there was no need for additional tests.
Want an appointment? sorry wait several months for the nearest one. need medicine and treatment? sorry go take a paracet and take a hike literally. need to update your perscription? sorry need to completely redo your appointment. oh my doctor is on vacation? why is he running around in uniform ? talk to receptionist about a potential heart issue? the response "what do you want me to do" well doing your job would be nice. Need to take sick leave and are unable to work but youre an immigrant? Heres two days compared to locals who get up to several months for "burnout" and finally the best or worst for last. had my entire toenail ripped out by a doctor who refused to give me proper pain numbing medication. was told to "keep myself distracted with my phone". if i could afford a private doctor i would switch in an instant. what a pathetic waste of tax money.
We had a suspect appendicitis. They were helpful, kind and serious. Really appreciated how they treated us.
Could not able to help the patient when you call .. the healt secretay. of legesenter håpless. .I pay my monthly tax and this is the way theytreated a patient . .i only visited once a year on this clinic for help and talk the dr . they only unswer no available today call tomorrow whe i cal the the next day they well unswer no one avaiaible dr today . this is so erratating .
