The Goats' Garden is a small permaculture based landholding with room accommodation in a 1930’s farmhouse in the south of Norway, where we keep goats and garden organically. We strive to live as lightly on the earth as possible, and to share our home with others. Our aim is to develop the land and soil along permaculture principles, offer an organic abundance to those who visit us, and make our space available for deep ecology, permaculture and transition events . For overnight guests we have organic towels and bath products, ecologically friendly bedding and we use all ecological cleaning products. Our goal is for all of our food to be as lightly traveled as possible, from right at home or local sources. We bake organic bread from local wheat milled in the valley. We are working on developing the site for wellness weekends and other deep ecology and permaculture based seminars.
