We have been open since November 18th 2005, yes it really has been that long folks:)
In the old days we were labeled more of just a football pub, but as many of our customers know we are so much more than that! This year we were voted the 2nd best football pub in Norway, next year hopefully number 1. Other things to enjoy at Three Lions is our weekly (Fri and Sat) Live music, we have got some great bands and the atmosphere at weekends is amazing.
It dosen’t matter if you’re 24 or 64, the Lions caters for everyone and you will always be assured of great English customer service.

If you want great pub food, we are your place. The only pub in Norway that makes homemade Shepherd’s pie. Our Fish and Chips are Trøndelag renowned (see “fotballkanalens vugge” on this site).
If it’s burgers you want, we got 25 to choose from and they are value for money. Try the Willy or Dougie Burger, you won’t be disappointed!

Probably the most heartwarming element to the pub, is our staff.
You will always get a friendly welcome at the pub and we will always go out of our way to help you get exactly what you need. Whether it be Football matches, quizzes, music or food.

Just a footnote to our brilliant pub, thanks to all our customers.

You are the most important element in the business and without you, we would be nothing. I hope we have the pleasure of giving you great service for many years to come:)

Most authentic footbal pub experience in town. The owners are from England, so there's a special English pub vibe. Best if you manage to catch a Manchester United or Liverpool game for the full experience and of course, especially if you're a fan. The fish and chips were voted best in town, and it was quite good. Mon-Fri until 19:00 you can get it at half price - the portions are a bit smaller and you don't get the salad, but I found it just the right size. Same offer for the burger.
We had an amazing time here watching two football matches and enjoying a lot of beers and snacks! The pub has a great atmosphere and the football decorations look awesome. Just as pub should look like I think. The staff were really friendly and kept an eye out that you don't drink TOO much. As we met two locals with we spent most of the evening drinking more and more beers and having fun. To the point I was kindly asked to switch to anything but beer, haha. I'm grateful they did because I've indeed reached my limit, hahaha. There was no fuss, and all was friendly. Again, we had a blast here! Hope we ever get to visit again, but without so much beer!
I had a great time at the Three Lions Pub in Trondheim! If you're a sports fan, this place is a must-visit. They've got screens everywhere, showing loads of different games, so you won't miss a thing. The owner, Dougie, is an absolute legend. He went out of his way to make sure I could watch the Hibs game, and he sorted it all out like a pro. The atmosphere in the pub was electric, and the selection of beers on tap was spot-on. All the staff were so helpful and attentive throughout. Highly recommend!
Found this family owned pub while looking for somewhere that would let us watch the AFL Aussie. Not only was it easily accommodated for us on the big screen, Dougie the Publican was great for a chat, had a great menu with food quality to match and of course, never let us go thirsty. Highly recommended and a highlight in Trondheim!Mat: 5/5
It is a bar with always a great atmosphere. You can go watch a rugby match or probably any other spots match and drink something while you are at it. There are also events like the Pub Quiz that are also very fun. That said the food is cheap but bad, even being cheap it made me sad to eat that burger... you get what you pay I guessMat: 2/5

You'll struggle to find more homely and friendly sports bar wherever you go in the world. The place has character imbued into its decor, its food and drinks offering, its focus on sport, and the family team that runs the place - it feels like a home rather than a simple watering hole, and all are welcome. There are at least a dozen screens throughout the two-storey building, and you will always find something to watch - whether it's busy or quiet. If you're British and looking for a bit of home comfort, then look no further than the extensive menu. There's everything from Fish & Chips to Shepherd's Pie available, and its as tasty and authentic as it is at home. One tip is to check ahead of time if there's a sporting event on you want to watch, as tables may be reserved quite quickly and for the bigger events, the pub even reaches capacity you'll have to be turned away for safety reasons.
Jeg bestilte bord hos Three Lions i anledning bursdagsfeiringen min 3 uker i forkant av feiringen. Det ble avtalt at vi skulle komme til klokka 22:00. Da vi kom dit var det veldig tydelig at de ikke hadde ordnet bord til oss, så vi stod der 11-12 stk og ikke hadde noe sted å sitte. Etterhvert ble vi plassert på et bord sammen med en gjeng andre mennesker. Dette var en veldig skuffende opplevelse og anbefaler ikke å bestille bord her.

Avoid this place at all cost if you are not Norwegian and have had any alcohol before coming. This place hate foreigners. Me and my girlfriend were not allowed to come in because we were "to drunk". We had had to beers to our dinner and not drunk at all. In most countries you are even allowed to drive a car with to beers in your system.Mat: 1/5
