We had a perfect weather for white water rafting and the guides were very knowledgable. Jess was our guide and we had a lot of fun with her! The rapids were pretty tame compared to some we have done in the US. We used the hot tubs after rafting and it was the perfect way to warm up after the river - plus views of the mountains and fjord. I would highly recommend checking out Voss Active if you're in the area!
Super fun family rafting adventure in Voss. We visited with Voss Active through Adventures by Disney but you can easily book them direct or through the usual travel sites. Super friendly and helpful -- the guides are terrific Jess from New Zealand led our bus and guide group. This was an easy level 2 adventure for families but they also bring it on level 4/5 rivers for more experienced rafters. Highly recommend. And, by the way, the hotel at the facility has great food and super cool outdoor spas overlooking the water!
We recently did the family white water rapids excursion with Voss Active yesterday with my 8 year old son. It was our first time rafting and my son was a little nervous about doing it. After getting out on the water, those fears were quickly gone! Our boat instructor was amazing!! She made the experience really fun and engaging, especially for my son. The hour and a half on the water flew by so quickly. The river/rapids started out really gentle with about 3-4 real "rapids" areas that had mild amount of splash and knocking around. We never at any point felt unsafe. This was loads of fun and well worth the money, I highly recommend! All the staff are really friendly, fun and professional !
We did the rafting tour. All in all great experience! Thanks a lot to our guide Janek who lead us safe through the river with a lot of humour! Definitely worth the price. Transport to the starting point via bus. After the instruction section, transport to another starting point and some coffee, hot chocolate, juice and water and after the tour, transport back to the base. Showers and locking rooms are nice and clean.
Great experience with a great team. We had the time of our lives there and recommend it to anyone visiting the area: go for it, you won’t regret it!
Fantastic rafting! Our guide, Tab, led us through with skill and expertise while keeping a very fun and light hearted attitude. Some of the rapids were a bit tougher than expected and we did flip once but there were plenty of guides in the water and on the shore to quickly fish us all back out of the water. I felt very safe and comfortable under their guidance. We were given all the gear we needed booties, a two piece wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket. The lockers held all our valuables, and there were showers available for afterwards. The scenic views from the river were fantastic and the weather at the end of June was perfect 71 degrees F. This was a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of Voss!
BEST white water rafting experience ever. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, it was my first time and going into Class 4 I was a bit nervous, but the staff were great teachers and i felt very safe the entire time. The restaurant cafe has amazing food, and you can relax in the hot tub afterwards and take in the beautiful scenery. 10/10 would go again. The staff went above and beyond and I will always remember this as the best part of my Norway trip.
Enjoyed an awesome rafting experience with the team at Voss Active. The equipment and services at Voss Active are top notch. Our team leader Danny was professional, entertaining and encouraging. He lead us, with expertise, through some amazing and thrilling rapids. Easily the best white water rafting we’ve encountered. I would highly recommend this activity for adventure seekers and adrenaline junkies
Our family had a fabulous time rafting! Our guide was great! We really enjoyed - and needed- the hot chocolate afterwards. The hot tub experience add-on was spectacular - well worth it!
Go rafting with Voss Active is A MUST! SUPER FUN!! The river is beautiful, the equipment is very good, and the staff is awesome!! We felt very safe and it was really fun. YOU GO!
