THE YUMEIHO TREATMENT:

Yumeiho is a Japanese massage therapy imbued with the fluidity of water and the rhythm of waves. The treatment is a compound of joint mobilizations, pressure kneading, and assisted stretching. The whole body is treated, including the stomach and the face. Yumeiho is a holistic treatment aimed to restore the body's symmetry and peace of mind.

The massage is done in in comfortable clothing and skin contact between the client and the therapist is minimal. Clients often report their sense wholeness after each session.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE SESSION:

The treatment is performed fully clothed, which means having on T-shirt and long trousers, underwear and thin clean socks. Comfortable clothes such that you use for your free-time activities, sports or as pajamas are the best. The ideal clothing allows full range of motion and made of light and thin natural materials. However with casual clothing on, the treatment can be still performed to a satisfactory level. If you have long hair, please bring a hair-band to tie your hair up.

One session lasts ca. 50 minutes.

ORIGIN:

This form of therapy originates from the Shaolin monasteries of China. The techniques have been transferred to Japan and reformed as Kotsuban Yumeiho Seitai by Prof. Saionji Masayuki.
Yumeiho is established and recognized in many countries for as long as 20 or more years. Now for the first time Yumeiho is available in Norway.

THE NAME:

The original name of Yumeiho was Kotsuban Yumeiho 骨盤湧命法, but as the time passed people referred to it as Yumeiho 湧命法. "Kotsuban" 骨盤 means pelvis, "Yu" 湧 means gush out, "Mei" 命 means life force and "Ho" 法 means technique. Therefore Yumeiho is the technique that gushes out the life force by treating the pelvis.
