The worst emergency department in the whole of Halland County. Came first but saw doctor last after 7 hours. As usual, it is Alvedon and Ipren that apply. Healthcare in Sweden has gone to hell...

Bad information on the website that only one relative is allowed inside. Old and frail people seeking emergency care had to wait a long time before any doctor made an appointment, and it was difficult to get in touch for follow-up after the decision to admit the patient.

Our daughter injured herself so we had to go to the emergency room in Varberg. From the moment we arrived, the reception to the nurses and doctors received such a nice reception. They were so nice and thorough and we felt very safe. Above all, it was fantastic that our daughter, who has extreme fears of hospitals, had such a safe experience. The injury was traumatic but the hospital stay was not. Everything that she is afraid of with hospitals, she had to go through and she coped with flying colours, and that a lot because of how fantastic their approach was towards her. We could not be more grateful to the emergency room in Varberg. Thank you!!

Sent by the health center to the emergency room due to sudden swelling in ankles and hands, impaired vision and pain in muscles and joints.nGot to see a nurse who assessed that I should go to the health center, didn't get to see a doctor or do any examination at all.nnI asked to see a doctor but no, a swelling in both ankles that caused numbness of the whole feet is not acute enough, nor that I have suddenly lost half my sight...nnIncredibly amateurish

My 5 stars go to the staff's treatment! Went in for serious stomach pains and I'm also pregnant. Everyone I met was amazing. When I did have time with someone, they were here and now. It is not the fault of the staff that it takes time in an emergency department. They would never have chosen to work so stressed if they could choose. Felt like I was in safe hands. Turned out to be the appendix but the inflammation went away by itself. Thanks for any help!
