We went when They were just preparing before the new season. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming.

Very nice small vikingvillage. Super vikingmarket in beginn of may. The “byalaget“ which orgsnizes all are very nice and competent people

This is a perfect spot to go to for a little picnic in the grass. At the same time, you can look at an authentic viking house built in the exact way the vikings did it and with the same tools. Around the viking house there are some nice trails in the forest with some beautiful views and information signs. Once in a while, they also arrange viking markets there.

In it's former glory I imagine this place to have been fantastic particularly speaking to those who have been when it was open. Unfortunately now it is shut down and all that remains is a few pieces that once was. Definitely still worth having a quick gander round to get a glimpse into how the vikings lived.
