Funplays Hyllinge

Have been to Funplays many times since it first opened and the kids have always enjoyed it, BUT, I have noticed that every time we go back, the state on the place is just getting worse and worse.nThe first thing to go wrong was the Tag arena. A great area, but soon after opening, the buttons start to not work, and more than 1 year later, they still don't work properly. The blue toboggans seem to be disappearing, and now there is only 1 left. The ninja run barely works. The area with the two large screens, imo has never worked properly from the start, and now there are holes in the ceiling. The disco area has had its panel ripped off the wall, and the copper data cable is left exposed picture attached.nMy latest visit, I had a problem with the cleanliness. I had got there at 10, so it was not long opened, and it looked like nobody had cleaned the place. Popcorn all over the trampoline area. Rubbish everywhere. Spilt drinks, melted ice cream pots dripping down over the equipment, stains, vomit and lack of toilet paper, and soap in the toilets.nThe place is just falling apart with no sign of maintenance or repair, and quite frankly, paying nearly 250kr per child is extortionate.nnSimply not good enough anymore.

An interesting mix of a playgrounds like Busfabriken/Leos Lekland and trampoline parks like Jumpyard/Yoump. A lot of things for kids to do, if maybe not as great at each thing as the specialised places. Still - it’s a huge place.nnIt’s pretty cleverly setup, with a restaurant in the middle. You can drink a cup of coffee and keep track of the kids wherever they are. Also, unlike the other trampoline places, they don’t charge per hour. Flat entry fee.nnAs it’s pretty new, everything works and looks fresh. Most importantly the kids love the variety of options. The size makes sure that there’s room for a lot of kids without any waiting times.nnWhile it was reasonably clean, the restaurant wasn’t cleaned up as quickly as it should have been. A lot of trash left for a long time on empty tables. Also, the noise level is high, as you might expect. Not terrible, but still.nnBut the price is the biggest downside. Bring a couple of kids, eat a burger and you won’t get much change back on 1 000SEK. Even parents have to pay a small fee just to enter.

Great new place for kids and families. Finally something that can match Leoslekland. It is good for kids birthday. A lot of space, they combined all of it, trampolines, area for little kids, interactive games. Area for adults is huge and relaxing.

You have to hand it to Funplays. They have created an environment where kids can jump, climb, AND be berated for wearing socks from a competitor which are virtually indistinguishable by a pedantic, rude, and exceptionally petty workforce who seem committed to sucking the joy out the whole experience.nnMy son isn’t fluent in Swedish and found it quite confusing and upsetting to be told off by a staff member when he didn’t understand what was going on. This is what happens when rules are simultaneously communicated inconsistently and strangely over prioritised — common sense goes out of the window and a company’s raison d’etre is compromised by overzealous enforcers of rules that were initially designed to protect it.nnI would recommend the owner takes a long hard look at the attitude and performance of the front of house staff as this is a good space/facility and should be busier than it is. Obviously the rude staff, silly cash grab with the socks and charging non-participating adults to enter the cafe area - absolutely ridiculous!, and overriding negative reputation is putting people off.

Lots of different activities to keep the little one occupied. Understaffed and the surfaces feel like they don't get cleaned very often. Staff argued with me about their socks being safe and mine werent and that its for safety. My kid slipped over in them anyway and I also slipped over as well so it's a corporate joke and social irresponsibility.
