Axeltorp nature reserve

A very beautiful nature reserve nested on the slopes, with breathtaking streams flowing through the ravines. The 9km loop is well marked and is easy to moderate for most hikers. The children loved it and would definitely come back.

Most of the trail is boring road, first through local suburban, then a road through forest, were drivers drive quite fast. At the end it is even more boring, you have to walk a cycle path next to a highway. It was hard to find the famous gorge, really poor marking on the whole path. We went in to a store that we found in the middle of woods, they pointed out were to walk. The actual peak of the trail in the woods which you pass in 10 minutes, sure beautiful scenery in the forest, but there are more nicer paths to take in Bjäre. All in all 1 hour with 2 teenagers and quite a lot of pauses.
