Ok
Easy to find and get into the sheep field. Thanks for that! Interesting ancient site with a number of bowl pits.
This little spot has the most beautiful view of all! A wonderful picnic spot!
Here was once an important cult site. It was probably during the Bronze Age that people carved their mysterious marks into the rock. Hundreds of pits, so-called bowl pits or river mills, oblong depressions, gutters and here and there the soles of feet. Bowl pits are the most common type of rock carving. These small, carved round pits may have had significance in connection with the cult, perhaps to promote fertility. On the small slope west of the road. Here you will find a strange picture: two “petrified footprints” with a frame of small bowl pits.
Cozy place and exciting bowl pits etc.
