Nice place, walking distance to the hamn. Good breakfast and we had a great one-day time in the city.
The hotel is in a good location near parking and the harbour. Nice room but it was a bit stuffy even with the fan going we brought our own that you fill with water + there is one on the room. The spa is nice with a plunge pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast is good. Overall recommended.
Just my hubby and I, the room was very tiny, but worked for our needs. The interior design is very nice in this hotel, and the restaurant is beautiful. The breakfast buffet was not great, and the orange juice was practically water. But, the hotel was clean, the food was fresh, the staff was extremely kind, and they even had a locker room for your bags if you needed them to hold them after checkout. The location is only a block from shopping and restaurants, and the view was also nice.
It was located near the harbour though parking was an issue for us. We managed to park in the street round the corner twice which is free between 6pm and 9am but you are allowed up to two hours. There was a small car park opposite the hotel for about 20 cars but It was full both nights after 6pm. You had to pay and there was an enforcement officer checking. Hotel itself was lovely and relaxing and spacious.
Pros: Location of the hotel was very good, public areas were cozy, breakfast was good and they had many options to choose from. The hotel room bathroom was decently modern and very clean. Good for the price.nnCons: The old outdated look of me and my friend's hotel rooms. It looked dull, dark, depressing and something from the the 70's or 80's. My room also had an old smell to it. Also coming from a Nordic country the full floor carpets were a con for me. Only the bathroom looked decently modern. However we pretty much only slept in the rooms so in the end it didn't bother that much but they most certainly should renovate the rooms.nnOverall good for the price but don't expect anything glamorous from the single rooms.
