Best Western Valhall Park Hotell

Always a pleasure to stay here, close to Koenigsegg factory.

This is not a typical Best Western like in the US where the hotel brand is based. Its a remodeled military base in a park setting. Very nicely done. I was there for an automotive conference and they had very very good conference facilities along with a modern restaurant with good food. Rooms were clean and had simple but modern furniture. Staff was very helpful. It was great to experience Swedish culture there.

Really nice place with green surroundings and modern facilities. The sofa bed was not super comfortable for an adult but other than that the facilities were great, including the resturant! All in all we were very pleased with our stay! Extra kudos to the staff Kit in the reception who helped us sort out a misunderstanding regarding how to charge our electric vehicle.

I visited the restaurant a few times for lunch, as I work somewhat close-by. The food was always great, though might not be everyone's cup of tea. There are sometimes Swedish specialties which to my eye resemble to Eastern European or Russian stuff, or, more often than not pretty standard euro food. Very good. The price is OK at around 10 euro, self service and you get free but not very good coffee. On a nice day the terrace is recommended.

It was a pleasant staying for me during one week.nRoom was comfortable, tidy and perfectly clean.nService worked impeccably, kind personnel! Breakfast was very good as for meals in lunch and dinner break.
