Blankaholm Naturcamping

Nice camping place by the water. We stayed there in June 2023 after a kayak trip in the wild and it was nice to be able to use the facilities. There is one electric stove outside 2 ronds. Several sinks to wash dishes. A few toilets and shower. At this season there is no queue to shower. Surroundings are amazing

A nice campsite with a very nice location. The Owner Stefan is very nice to everyone and helpful every time. You can have a good view at the sea. Unfortunately the sea is very oily at some parts. Campers have much place for their tents and caravans. The weak point is by mostly by the toilets and the showers. Therenare only 4 toilets and 2 showers on the total campsite. The door handles and the toilet glasses are greasy. But the main problem is that there are not enough toilets. On a normal morning in the Summer you can wait up to 30 minutes to get a toilet. Sometimes also the toilet paper is empty. An other problem is that the WLAN is not working.nBut you can maybe use mobile data, if you go into Blankaholm, because at the Campsite is only very bad 3G.

This place was my saving grace under beating rain, so it's hard to be totally objective. The camper van that I stayed in was very old and rickety, with a smell to match to say nothing of the rented linen, which smelled very strongly of some kind of ancient mothballs. Toilets and showers were adequate at best. The stars come mainly from the natural environment, which is very nice indeed.

Be careful. We booked and paid for a cottage but when we arrived we were very dissappointed to be lodged into a very old and smelly caravan right next to the reception. The explanation was that there was a double-booking, however the cottage we had paid for were empty all the time. Late in the evening with our little son we had no other options. It was not possible for us to have any discount, so we were charged 700DKK for a night in this old smelling caravan with odeur. Way to expensive for a caravan without bed sheets or water?

Very nice view to a lake, if you can catch a place between the permanent campers. Widely stretches over approx 800 m distance . Mainly 2 layers. One about 20 m elevated above lake level and close to the lake + 5 m. Many grey geese. Staff very friendly. German , English , Swedish spoken. Credit cards accepted with additional fee. Drawback! Sanitary installations! With about 150 visitors total 4 toilets and same number of showers. Paper bins overflowing. Lack of toilet paper. 400 Kronas for a mobile home plus 2 person including electricity unreasonable considering the infrastructure.
