Food was excellent.highly recommend if you find yourself in this part of Sweden.

We read about the restaurant in the White Guide were it was rated as “god klass”. And indeed it was yummy food. We went first for lunch and sat outside. Really good value - we took the beef patties Biff à la Lindström which included a free starter herring buffet for under 200 SEK. Went again for the evening and then it turned into a bit finer menu, also price wise . Started with Lillia Legris and Gillardeau oysters the Gillardeau tastes better and had fish soup as main. Went for a bottle of Lanson champagne for the food and finished off with 2 interesting whiskies they apparently have the biggest whiskey selection in whole Sweden . The “Fermutation” Ardbeg and a nice 18 yo Highland Park whisky . Love those smoky ones from Islay and Orkney.

We were visiting my daughter's friend and her spouse French and longtime resident of Gothenburg. The third day's outing was a drive around the archipelago on the north of Gothenburg and have lunch at Brygghuset Fiskebäckskil. Our friends are now fully convinced, after our excellent feedback of the dinner earlier at Hönö, that weIndians used to hot and spicy stuff love authentic Swedish food. Here also our preference was some of the signature fish and shrimp dishes available on that day. Incomparably tasty and soft on the palate. Our hosts were delighted to see our thankful smile. My wife who is never satisfied with her own superb cooking gave a fulfilled look. That's why I want every browser of google reviews to know about this restaurant. If you visit this part of Sweden don't miss out!

We visited Brygghuset Fiskebäckskil on Saturday evening as it came highly recommended. And we were not disappointed. The food was good and the staff very attentive.nEven though they had a big party in the other room of the restaurant it did not deter from our service.nWe had the lobster which was extremely well priced.nThey have an extensive whisky range, but unfortunately we did not get to sample that. Something for next time.

Excellent. Outstanding. Food. Wine. Staff. Surroundings.nDishes and ingredients are excellent. The distinctive menu underlines the commitment to high quality. A distinguished selection of wines far from mainstream. The staff is welcoming, warm, attentive, charming. Cabinets on the wall store 2800 different whisky creating a nice and cosy atmosphere. Even if most of them are not to be served, there are quite a number of whisky to choose from and the manager will find one to match your taste. This is the place to go. Upmarket but excellent value for money. Reservation recommended.
