Fine dining on Käringön! The restaurant is located in a former priest house and has the charm of the 19th century . Nicely decorated menu using the motives from the paintings on the walls. Candle light and 2 very engaged waitresses who explain the food . We went all in , trying every dish on the menu plus the cheese - 9 servings in total , and a matching wine menu. The portions weee little , so it was s possible to get through 9 dishes without feeling stuffed . The cook is innovative and does interesting combinations - like eg mackerel with grilled strawberries , a tatar with melted butter powder or the vichysoisse leek soup with fermented asparagus. We had a great joyful evening . The tasting menu is approx 1300 SEK per person plus approx 1000 for matching wines . Summer menu with 3 larger dishes costs under 700 and pairing wine menu there around 600. White guide lists the place as “very good class”. Surprisingly Michelin has not yet discovered it - in my view it could have changes for a star .

Tasty, interesting food.nnThe location, rooms and decorations are amazing, you're sat in an old house, feels like eating at home in a lavish living room.nnService is very friendly, if at times a bit subpar when compared to other places that serve food of this quality. There are not that many servers so sometimes waits are long. The friendliness and quality of the menu more than makes up for this minor flaw, however.

Considering this is a small island.... amazing fine dining with first class service that would match anything in London. A must visit and make sure you have the nettle soup, it's to die for.nLong live summer.

Delicious food and very kind service. White fish, Fish and chips, herring - all very fresh and delicious, perfectly done. Popular place, book in advance!

Very little and missunderstanding service. Did not get enough sides. Had to leave hungry. Not the White Guide experience we are used to. The place was better 3 years ago!
