Amazing staff, very friendly, kind and helpful.nFood was delicious, and they even went out there way to make something the kids would like. Great place. Will definitely be visiting again!

Very charming and cosy place with a nice view when sitting on the terrace. The staff was friendly but quite slow. It took ages to order a few drinks and pastries. At least they could manage in English. The caramel cheese cake was heavenly! Also the cake with berries soaked in cream is a recommendation.

If you‘re in Borås and you’re not at Café Viskan - respectfully, what Are You Doing?!? :nThe 4.1 Rating is a joke!!!! nThis is THE Place for food, cake, coffee & a Great time. Not only in Borås, but in general I‘ve been to many Great cities in the world and this has to be one of, if not THE, best and coziest cafés I‘ve ever been to. From the people working there, to the amazing interior and of course, the Great food & great hospitality. The people who own the Place say It’s supposed to feel Like their living room, and I would say It’s certainly Mission accomplished. Whatever you eat, at whatever time of the day breakfast incl. Buffet, lunch offers or dinner, You’re Not gonna regret it! And make sure to Check out the Carrot Cake, of course selfmade, for me probably the best carrot cake I’ve ever had!nI‘ve Never heard of Borås before my girlfriend Showed it to me, and I will always want to come back, certainly because of Café Viskan!! I was there especially for the Swedish meatballs as a Turkish, who was visiting her friends. The quality is always good,this is my third time visiting. Meatballs you are going to have will be delicious, classic lingonberries and mash potatoes. However, as my swedish friends told me, portion was not enough compare to the amount you pay.. Well you can have extra tiny salad from bar included to that price too. For me it's a nice, relax, cozy atmosphere where you can sit with your friends during lunch time, next to the Viskan river in Borås. Ah also coffee was included too to that price.

Sticky floors but amazing food. I loved the English breakfast and the latte was good. Open on Sundays from 10 to 12 for breakfast - an oasis in the middle of a quiet city morning
