The hotel is well positioned, and the public rooms are very pleasant. Our room was located in a wing at the back across the courtyard. The room was larges and seemed comfortable, if somewhat dated. However in the morning both of us found that we had many bites all over our bodies, which could only be from bedbugs.nWe told the lady at reception, her reaction was somewhat sceptical, but she said she would arrange a pest inspection and inform us of the results. This happened almost three weeks ago and we have heard nothing fromthe hotel.
Great hotel! The staff was very good. Food that was served during the evening was very good. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor complaint on some staff that was not so service minded, but it was not a real issue. Maybe a bar day like the rest of us.
One of the best hotels I have even stayed in! The staff were amazing and the services were excellent!
Perfect! Close to where-to-be, very good service, nice big rooms. The backyard is perfect for breakfast, fica and chilling. Only negative comment and reason for holding the fifth star is the missing Clarion Pillows! Where did it go wrong? Continued trip to Clarion Kalmar. Same nice experience AND Clarion Pillows
Stayed in a family style room thru the courtyard. The room is quite dated however it was a massive room and extremely comfortable, even if older. My kids were in shock at how much space we had. So even if renovation could be done, all the staff we met were just so good at their jobs, friendly, warm and accommodating, that this slight negative means nothing to me. Great value for money, good food and just an awesome vibe. Great location too if travelling with the kids as there is a playground across the street and v close to downtown halmstad. Everyone who works here should be proud of the jobs they’re doing. So good. If I could give a sixth star I would! Keep it going guys!
