Very disappointed with the quality and long term durability of the DalaFloda HardPine 25x159 Premium Pearl flooring from Sveden Trä AB. This floor is marketed as a premium product, but after around one year of normal residential use it already started looking worn, patchy, and visually degraded. The white pigmented finish simply does not hold up over time. Even small scratches, normal wear, or localized cleaning quickly expose a dull grey tone underneath the surface, making the floor look uneven and aged far earlier than expected.nnWhat is especially frustrating is that the floor cannot realistically be restored once this starts happening. I genuinely tried to maintain it correctly and followed the supplier’s guidance carefully. I used the exact products recommended to me, including Osmo Vask og Pleiemiddel, Osmo Vedlikeholdsvoks 3087 Hvit, Osmo Underhållsolja 3440 Hvit, Osmo Rens, Osmo Dekorvoks Snø, and Osmo hardvoksolje with white pigmentering. None of these products were capable of rebuilding the original Pearl finish in a convincing or controlled way. The white maintenance products contain too little pigment to properly repair worn areas, while Dekorvoks Snø creates visible tonal inconsistencies and patchiness. Instead of restoring the floor naturally, every attempt at maintenance leaves the surface looking more cloudy, uneven, and artificially repaired.nnThe technical guidance and follow up support were also disappointing. I clearly explained which products and methods I had already tested without success, yet the same ineffective recommendations were repeated again afterward. I was also initially guided toward standard white pigmented maintenance products, while it later became clear that the correct tone for this floor should have been much closer to Snø. On a heavily pigmented decorative floor system, that is a major detail to get wrong and suggests a lack of precision and understanding regarding their own maintenance system.nnThis floor simply does not age well. After roughly one year it already looked significantly degraded, and there appears to be no reliable way to restore the intended appearance once the pigment layer begins to break down. For a floor sold as a premium hardwax oiled solution, both the material quality and the technical support fall far below expectations. DalaFloda HardPine Premium Pearl is, in my experience, an overly sensitive and poorly engineered finish system that becomes grey, patchy, and unattractive far too quickly. I would absolutely not recommend this floor to anyone expecting durability, maintainability, or long term visual consistency.
