Dals Rostock Herb Garden

Not just a re-interpretation of the historic herb garden that was here at the beginning of the 20th century but meanwhile a whole small museum town with a café, museum, garden, greenhouse, antiquarian bookshop, antique shop and studio of Dalsland artist Kerstin Ljungqvist. You can see some of her beautiful paintings in her studio which also serves as a shop with reproductions of her work and local products. One of the best shops I've seen of this kind! Some of the plants from the garden are also sold outside next to the studio. A whole afternoon can be spent here. On summer days there's sometimes live music as well.

Nice place, was there in June so may come back a little later and feel the scents of herbs and look at fancy flowers.
