Untouched beauty. Very easy walking. Not long also. But not push chair friendly. Some mosquitoes and not friendly cows you might find.

Beautiful

A beautiful nature reserve where you can spend a few hours. From the parking lot, the blue route takes you to a nice place to take a break. A bench with a table is available.nThe yellow route is a little longer and leads either towards Isaberg or Nissan river. The Nissan is then crossed over a suspension bridge. If you leave the yellow route there the highway has to be crossed you can disappear a good distance deep into the forest on an MTB route. Pure idyll!! Take your time, there is more to see than you expect in the parking lot.

The 6 km long and well signposted circular hiking trail Golfbanaleden recognizable by the yellow diamond leads directly from the parking lot of the Ettö Nature Reserve. Very close to the toilet block, the path in this part leads over a cow pasture. The circular hiking trail belongs to the Isaberg Mountain Resort, but unfortunately an information board with an overview of this and other circular hiking trails is only available at the resort's base camp. The circular hiking trail is very varied and leads, among other things, along the Nissan, over hills with a view of the lake, over a suspension bridge, past a golf course and two swimming areas. Near the Isaberg Mountain Resort you have to share the somewhat rooty and bumpy forest path with people who are there on mountain bikes. Part of the route is on the road near the golf course. But there isn't much traffic there. Along the way you can learn something about the history of iron production in the town of Nissafors from many small signs and a large information board.

Not much to see in April. Really disappointing indeed. Badly signposted and nothing interesting to look at.
