If you are on Visingsö I can highly recommend this lovely small garden caffe.nThe owners are very friendly. A playground for kids is available but also there is enough place for a quiet rest.nFamilies and such travellers without kids can both find a rest here.nThe waffles sweet as well as hearty ones are available are a wonderful snack.nThe Alpacas are on a meadow next to the garden. If you want to get in touch with them you will need to pay a small extra fee for a “Safari“.nEnjoy your stay with a tasty waffle and a good coffee relaxing to some nice calm music laying in one of the hammocks.
An absolute oasis, what a wonderful secret spot! We rented bicycles to explore Visingsö with our family and stumbled upon this charming place for lunch. They offer a range of coffee drinks and bowls Poké, Tex-Mex, etc. that can be prepared vegetarian. The service was excellent, with flawless English. But the atmosphere really made it special, with hammocks swaying gently between fruit trees enticing you to linger. And that doesn't even mention the quaint little children's playground, the local ceramics on display in the gift shop, or the alpacas grazing in their pens - each providing an extra dollop of whipped cream on top of an amazing day. We honestly had planned to go back to our AirBNB to allow our little one to nap, but stayed on at Familjegården Gladhytt for several hours. It takes a lot to get us to unwind, but this is one place from our Sweden vacation where we achieved relaxation. Highly recommended, don't miss it! If you're in the area, go - and plan to stay a while!
People were absolutely LOVELY here! The welcome was so friendly and we got the best treatment ever! We had a little private tour and had a very nice talk about the alpacas with Nathalie who introduced them to us.nWe got to shower the alpacas and feed them.nThey are very sweet and calm and love to cuddle.nWhen my partner as a surprise, proposed to me in the middle of field, Nathalie the owner took the most beautiful pictures of us and we were treated with a complimentary drink and a beautiful printed picture.nWe REALLY recommend this beautiful family farm with the nicest people ever for a nice and welcoming break to cuddle with some alpacas.nWe will definitely return!
