It's super nice. It's more than a zoo. To full happiness of my son, the spiders should be outside their terrariums. I don't think other visitors would be so happy, though! There are not tons of animals. Aquariums are rather small, but it still makes a massive impression on kids, and perhaps adults too. I really recommend it.
Interactive zoo, meaning that the monkeys may decide to jump on your rucksack and play on your neck, a boa may decide to go on exploration on your arm or parrots may get nasty with you. Unfortunately, I could not get in touch with the bats so far. They only fly close by, but do not land on your head. A paradise for children!! The food is very healthy, rich of fibres and tasty.
Worth a visit!nI had no idea that so many animals were out of cages and moved freely around the rooms in the facility! We got to experience curios lemurs and some very daring small monkeys, bats, parrots - very cool! We had some fruit with us for the kids to snack on, which caused a lot of attention. We had everything hidden in the backpack but still they smelled it and didn’t leave our stroller alone. Nothing too excessive but was a little overwhelming for our 7 & 5 year olds who were worried for their baby brother. But there were no issues.nnIn the basement we got to meet a tiny crocodile, and fish that love to eat dead skin off the fingers nnThe place isn’t particularly big, so about 3 hours is enough. A little steep price-wise 220kr for a grownup, but I’d say it’s worth it.nnFree parking for 2,5h hours. There’s a cafe but we didn’t have the time. Elevators are available and it’s ok to move around with a stroller. Wasn’t too crowded either.nnLoved it, to sum it up.
Amazing g experience for the kids with good aquatic animals. They loved the monkeys as well as all the small, wild animals. The snakes were scarely, but the most intriguing was the experience of having the fish eat your dead skin
The staff does a great job. All animals look healthy and happy. Recommend for all ages. There is plenty of parking and you can have some food here. There are places to park prams, but you can also walk around with them as there is an elevator. Remember to dress lightly because it's very warm inside. There is wardrobe room for jackets.nStaff will let you pet some of the creatures. There is even fish tanks that you can dip your hand in.nPlan to spend here max 3 hours.
