Fjärås kyrka

The church of Fjärås has roots from the 14th century. It predates even Gustav Vasa. It was built while county of Halland still was under Danish ruling. It has a rather unique placement, placed rather elevated above the Fjärås area. It is rather sparsed decorated inside, but the few things inside are worth a visit. Also, the look and the sound from the organ is impressive.

Fjärås church is located in Kungsbacka municipality. The oldest parts of the magnificent white church building are from the 12th-13th centuries. The church is surrounded by a cemetery and on the opposite side of Rossaredsvägen there is the parish hall and a large parking lot. In the flower bed outside the parish center there is a small Madonna figure.

Very nice church, located very well at its height. Very nice interior with lovely surfaces.

I was there for the baptism. Very nice church. Beautifully decorated throughout. Was impressed by the large organ they had on the balcony above the entrance inside the church.
