Never went inside so don't know what it's like. Worth a visit though if you're in the area, if only to visit the only stave church in Sweden. Good parking nearby and a lovely little cozy village location. Very serene.
Tiny, unique, historical place. Would have been nice if able to see inside
Worth to visit, because of the paintings, the last stavkirke of Sweden, not really comparable to those in Norway.nI was very warm welcomed by a young lady, who let me have look inside and answered some questions
The only preserved stave church in Sweden. It's a very interesting look at how churches used to be, and very well preserved. The images painted in the 1700eds look quite cartoonish, but still worth a look. There is also a very old Bible on display.
Very nice place. The only originally kept Stavkyrka in Sweden. Great!
