Hyssna gamla kyrka

Beautiful all around, haven't been inside

Hyssna old church dates from the 12th century. It is a rural church surrounded by beautiful nature.

Nice place, too bad you couldn't come in and admire the church from the inside too.

When you enter the church and look up at the ceiling, you can see God's name Jehovah written in Hebrew letters.nIn the Hebrew language, the name of God is written with four consonants, יהוה. These Hebrew letters – transcribed YHWH – are called the Tetragrammaton.nThe first parts of the Bible were written in Hebrew, a language that is read from right to left.nSome scholars prefer the spelling Yahweh, but Jehovah is the most widely known form of the name.
