Hjortsjöns camping

Very nice campsite, very clean toilets and washing facilities. Has its own beach at the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff.nIf you want to go fishing, be aware of the fact that due to reed there is very limited access to the water without a boat.

I do not recommend this place for cyclists or motorcyclists with tents.nWith my motorcycle and tent, I paid 320 SEK – about 28 EUR.nThere wasn’t a single table in the common area. When I asked if I could have dinner at the reception table which had been free all day, the owner said no.nnThe toilets are clean, and the shower works with a card – it’s free, but the cards are numbered, so they’re probably tracking water usage nnAll in all, better skip this place

Stayed here for two nights to rest a bit before continuing our trip. Would recommend if you’re staying under a short period of time.nnThe campsite is quite small and very quiet. It’s located by the lake which makes the campsite for the most part look very cozy. There’s a playground with a couple of swings only a few steps away from the campsite, located by the beach, and a big field with grass where you could let the children run. I read somewhere that it isn’t the campsite’s own beach and playground, but it nonetheless does bring up the rating.nnThe utility rooms were really fresh and looked recently renovated. I was actually quite surprised by this because that wasn’t something that I expected by the first glance! There weren’t many showers or toilets, only three of each, but that was never a problem since there weren’t many campers staying here.nnAnother thing worth to mention is that the campsite is wheelchair-friendly. There’s a separated bathroom and a cabin for it. Even the beach is accessible for wheelchairs. I think that’s something that’s worth mentioning in case that’s a dealbreaker for some families!nnOverall a solid 4/5

On our way back home from our Norway/Sweden trip we spent 2 nights here. Perfect spot you can choose by yourself. Possibility to wash your laundry. Clean and modern toilets and douches.nJust a bit hilly for a campervan

Family friendly camping grounds. Has a great beach for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. The playground is also very well designed to appeal to kids of all ages. As a bonus there's a minigolf course that looked pretty nice - we just didn't have time to try it out.
