Hjortsjöns camping

On our way back home from our Norway/Sweden trip we spent 2 nights here. Perfect spot you can choose by yourself. Possibility to wash your laundry. Clean and modern toilets and douches.nJust a bit hilly for a campervan

Stayed here for two nights to rest a bit before continuing our trip. Would recommend if you’re staying under a short period of time.nnThe campsite is quite small and very quiet. It’s located by the lake which makes the campsite for the most part look very cozy. There’s a playground with a couple of swings only a few steps away from the campsite, located by the beach, and a big field with grass where you could let the children run. I read somewhere that it isn’t the campsite’s own beach and playground, but it nonetheless does bring up the rating.nnThe utility rooms were really fresh and looked recently renovated. I was actually quite surprised by this because that wasn’t something that I expected by the first glance! There weren’t many showers or toilets, only three of each, but that was never a problem since there weren’t many campers staying here.nnAnother thing worth to mention is that the campsite is wheelchair-friendly. There’s a separated bathroom and a cabin for it. Even the beach is accessible for wheelchairs. I think that’s something that’s worth mentioning in case that’s a dealbreaker for some families!nnOverall a solid 4/5

Very nice and quite camping place. Sanitary facilities modern and clean. Swimming lake nearby.

Family friendly camping grounds. Has a great beach for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. The playground is also very well designed to appeal to kids of all ages. As a bonus there's a minigolf course that looked pretty nice - we just didn't have time to try it out.

The wet rooms are superb. Cabin good. Great view, next to the lake. What more could one want ?
