Kyrkekvarn Naturcamping

The stugas are a little dated, but they are cozy and have everything one could need except a washing machine. The location is beautiful! Very quiet and peaceful with lots of trails to explore. We stayed there for a week and I miss it already!

Writing this review, it is hard to rate. Because you have to see everything in perspective. You can’t compare it to a 5 star family camping. I rate this campsite in comparison to other Nature campsites.nnThe campsite has very basic facilities, there is running water and showering is done with water out of the river. The toilets are just a hole in the ground. The little toilets and showers might need overhauled. However there is also a roofed fireplace where you can sit if the weather is bad and your trekkingtent does not offer a vestibule like mine. Wood for the fireplace is provided.nnNearby approx 300mtrs you can rent a canoe for a nice trip on the river or nearby. lakes. At the same place where you can rent the canoe, there is a small waffle café.nnIf you want to enjoy nature and have no problem with a hole in the ground for your ones and two’s and showering with water from the river, this is a very enjoyable place to be.nnWildlife is present, I have seen roedeers, kingfishers, grassnakes, yellow wagtails and much more

Arrived spontaneously and got a fantastic spot at the nature campsite right on the river in the forest.nUnfortunately everything seems a bit unkempt. Camping toilets overflow. Shower room wasn't clean. Garbage was full to the brim. The sink also made an unkempt and dirty impression. We moved on after one night.

Very nice and natural campsite by the river. Friendly staff. Spontaneously stayed for 2 days. 200 SEK for 1 night. Electricity, water, toilet and shower available. Canoe rented for 400 SEK. A dream for fishing, best with a canoe in the river.

Great natural place, very nice. Warm showers with river water available. Even the outhouses are very clean. You can have a campfire depending on the warning level. Many activities from horseback riding, hiking and canoeing are possible here. There are very tasty waffles in our own café. A great place for families
