First Camp - Skara Sommarland

The only problem is the amount of seagulls. Some people can't understand that feeding the seagulls isn't ok. Feeding them makes them sh*t everywhere. Maybe putting some signs up would help the situation. Overall it's a nice and clean place. Everything and more you need. Little shop, minigolf, grillplats, restoraunt etc. Really friendly staff and lots to do.

Skara camping is a large park situated next to sommarland amusement and water park. The camp grounds features numerous powered sites and guest houses along with playgrounds, tennis courts a restaurant and a small shop which never had any milk. There are a few large amenities blocks with showers, toilets, grey water sinks and outside dishwashing stations. While they were centrally located for each section and cleaned regularly they were a bit on the run down side, the showers were definitely a flip flop wearing kind of shower if you get my drift. The caravan sites were a good size, relatively flat but typically for a place near an amusement park, rather loud. There were sites located further away in small valleys that were quieter. Check in an out were easy. If you are a family looking for somewhere to camp while visiting sommarland then this place is for you, if you are looking for somewhere quiet for a longer stay, consider the further sites or somewhere else.

The activities in the camp ground are good until you have something like the Swingen. It’s interesting and loads of parents are prepared to pay for their kids to do this activity..they only have 2 of 4 operating. Half hour to 40 mins waiting for a 5 min timed activity. Sort it out.

The camping houses were a little cramped

Very noisy, it is almost 24:00 and people are still playing and screaming outside, and there is no one from the staff out there to quiet them down a bit!.. I Paid 2800 sek to have a quite night with my family!...
