Even off season its a nice place to stay.nCoffee shop along the road is perfect.

Nice parking space, with orchestra space over the Göta canal. Easy to cycle to Sjötorp. MB-lådan, a Mercedes museum worth a visit, best of all is that the entrance fee NOK 50 goes directly to children in need. ICA close, with a fresh produce counter from our own sausage factory 2 minutes' walk from the grooming area. There is also a café and pizzeria right nearby. Tommy, sheriff of Stellplassen, a gentleman of high service.

Drove from Sjøtorp in the rain but fortunately the rain stopped after a couple of hours.nAfter 7 kilometers we arrive at the motorhome parking lot in the guest harbor in Lyrestad.nAll the places along the canal were occupied, but luckily there were campers traveling so we got a place at the front.nThe mobile home parking there only takes cash, SEK 225 or NOK 250.nGreat to sit in the sun on the edge of the canal and watch all the beautiful boats that slipped by.nCycled along the canal down to the uppermost locks in Sjötorp.

Very bad information about the pitch, there is no possibility to arrive or get a pitch. The sheriff was absent on the other side but still paid to the sport. The pitch is crowded with only Norwegians.

Nice parking space on the Göta Canal. Cycling tour to Töreboda is recommended. Some bookable places available. Very popular.
