Great place right on Lake Vänern. But the Stuga for 850skr/night was the dirtiest I have ever been in Sweden. Cigarette butts in front of the stuga. Food leftovers under the sofa under the mattresses were old socks and cloths, just disgusting. I have forwarded the deficiencies but got no response from the side of the operator.
A very nice place, with a beautiful view. Quiet area, but still just 15 min walk to the city centrum. Toilet/washroom could be nicer, so if this is important to you, deduct one star for a total of 3.
4.5 stars, actually. Otherwuse, really quite liked this place. Did lots of running and it was nice to go swimming straight afterwards. For those wanting to swim - go to the docks furthest away from the restaurant/mini-golf. Here you can climb in/jump right into the water. The beach by the restaurant is very shallow with lots of hard stones to navigate over, especially for people like me who forget their swimming shoes. Great kitchen for washing up dishes. Never used the showers as I swam so much. Half a star is lost because there was never any soap to wash hands in the bathroom. A minor irritation for me as I had a bathroom in our bus, but those in tents must have been irritated. Employees always super helpful and smiling. Husband and I absolutely plan to return again!
Stopped for a picnic here, so much to do, fresh water lake to swim in, trees and forest to adventure in, cafe/bar to drink. Lovely place xxx
Ok place, little bit confusing information and wierd rules.nnTrying ask about sauna, but nobody doesn't knew and said that they can ask from boss, but never told me. Later I asked another worker, but she did not know either.nnFood is ok.
