Storängens Camping

We stayed at Camping Storängens for two nights in July with our rooftop tent and a regular tent — and we loved it. The location is stunning: peaceful, right beside the river, and surrounded by nature. If you don’t need electricity, you can camp closer to the water for a serene experience.nnFrom the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The hosts are warm, friendly, and genuinely caring, creating a relaxed and personal atmosphere throughout our stay.nnThe entire campsite is very well maintained. It's extremely clean, and the facilities are smart, including a key card system for the bathrooms and the option to book the washing machine. There’s also an excellent recycling station.nnThe atmosphere was quiet and respectful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind. We especially enjoyed a flat bike trail nearby that follows a former train line — perfect for kids. The campsite also offers other activities like canoe trips and beaver watching.nnHighly recommended for anyone who values nature and genuine hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We’d love to come back!

Stayed here 3 nights in May 2025. Fabulous place. The toilets & showers were spotless. Alex and Jesse could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended and I hope to return.

Couldn’t recommend enough. Peaceful, beautiful, well kept, right next to the river full of beavers and other animals. We came for less than 24 hours and end up staying a few days. Highly recommended!

Very nice camping. Beautiful view onto the river. Clean showers and toilets.nOwner organises beaver-tours. You can rent a bicycle, canoe or raft from the campsite. Also close to a long stretched cycling path which used to be a railroad.nThere is a small playground for younger children and a lovely fireplace incl bbq rack with river view.nOne of the cheapest campings we had in all Sweden and by far offering the most value for money.nOwner and his family are hospitable and very helpful.nDue to the sum of all above we extended our planned stay at this camping.

It is a beautiful nature, with a nice river to swim in. They also have fun activities to do like canoeing and spotting beavers, in the morning they have fresh bread, in the evening you can eat some fries over there and a burger.they also have delicious ice cream. The people who work there are also super kind and helpful. I do suggest this beautiful camping.nnFrom Ronald and Florian
