Stayed here for 1 night over weekend. Reception doesn’t work during weekends instead they send you code to enter building and have your keys in envelope. So you won’t get any breakfast in weekend.nRooms were clean and spacious. Building is old so most of the furniture has 80’s look but that doesn’t matter for 1 night. Located next to river with nice views and close to train station and supermarkets.nCommunication from staff prior arrival was very clear due to checkin on weekend.
Nice and clean hotell, had everything we needed for a night in Uddevalla to go to a concert in Gothenburg. The room was eqipped with hair dryer, kettle for boiling water and a refrigerator. Parking for 35 SEK per 24 hrs. Very nice people working there. Breakfast was fine, not an extremely varied selection of foods, but everything we needed and the buffet was nicely arranged, it seemed as those working there wanted it to look nice. Would definitively go back if we are in the area again.
Horrible stay. The maid locket herself into the room at 09.30 while we were still sleeping, although checkout wasn't until noon. The maid locked herself into the room AGAIN at 10.30, and doing so enabled an alarm the hotel uses to make guests that are late for checkout wake up and leave as the sound is very loud and unpleasant. We were exhausted when we got to the hotel the night before so we were still trying to sleep through the alarm as it took a whole hour before a janitor finally disabled it.At the checkout the receptionist told us that if we didn't want people locking themselves into the room we had to place a do not disturb sign up. The hotel was filthy, creepy and it has not been refurbished since 1982. The room was 1159 kr a night but in my opinion the rates should not be more than 400 kr. The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is that the bathroom was clean.
Comfortable hotel that allow dogs. Be prepared to pay extra for dog. The hotel itself was aging but it was definitely clean and looked after. Our room was a family room which also had a small kitchenette. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant had closed down due to Covid19 and the river area in front of hotel was closed due to being insecure. Situated close to the city centre.
Bathroom shower broken. Not the best cleanliness. I understand that from 3 star hotel you can't expect too much however some 3star hotels are perfect but you could at least have a hairdryer.nThere's no kettle in the room and kitchen where you can get your tea or coffee closes at 20:00, so if you had your tea or coffee before that, congrats, if not, suit yourself.nAnd when I wanted to drink an orange juice during the breakfast, it was diluted with waternAND THERE WAS SOMEBODY'S SOCK IN A CORNER OF THE ROOM???? DON'T KNOW HOW OLD nSERIOUSLY?!
