I stayed 6days here and overall I like this hotel. Definitely hotel needs little facelift but it’s clean and cozy. Breakfast is really bad even for Swedish standards.
Disappointed with this hotel, the maritime decor is very nice and certainly interesting to look at and read about. Unfortunately though the rooms, at least our room was lacking in decor, which left the room feeling very bare and cold, a couple of pictures on the walls would have done wonders for this room. Cobwebs on the ceiling didn't improve the view when laying in bed. It wasn't possible to hang up the shower head to shower, although this did get fixed after we spoke to the staff. The breakfast was very basic and kept running out, so we had to wait on several occasions for it be refilled, at times we just gave up waiting. The bacon wasn't edible. The evening meals were nice but being served on ice cold plates meant the food got cold really quickly. Unfortunately you can hear everything as well, when in your room there are doors constantly being shut in other rooms, at 6 o'clock in the morning, this can be quite annoying.nOn a more positive note the staff were very hospitable and friendly and the beds were really comfy which is the main reason our stay didn't get ruined. You also get free entry to the motor museum which is definitely worth a visit.
Good hotel with a fair price. Rooms are clean and like mentioned before, cabin like. They want to give you the feeling that you are on a boat! Breakfast is good and there is a buffet during dinner for the quests until the summer season. Staff is very friendly!
Excellent choice for a short trip. Personnel is kind and informative. A big minus on the breakfast. An hour before the end, the buffet was empty of almost everything.
OK central location. Rooms are quite cabin like, interesting for a day or two, then wears thin. Only been out of season when it's very quiet.
