Jönköping County Museum

Jönköping County Museum is a very nice place for families with kids.nWe visited with our children and really enjoyed it. The museum is clean, well organized, and has interesting exhibitions for both adults and children. There are creative and interactive areas that keep kids engaged, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming.nBest of all, the entrance is free, which makes it a perfect place to visit with family. Highly recommended for a relaxed and educational day in Jönköping.

Definitely worth the visit! It's free!nnOur goal was the John Bauer display. We are fans and had just visited Trollsjön near Mullsjö. Excellent presentation, and very kid-friendly. Any exhibition that starts with visitors taking off shoes, we'll, that *is* Swedish!nnThe other prize was the display of skarvsom, a peasant craft being revived. Again, so.e wonderful treasures.

It's a cozy time machine packed with local legends, viking relics, and dreamy John Bauer troll art with a interesting futuristic point of view. It mixes nature, history, and magic. Free to enter but you’ll leave richer in whimsy

Colorful, modern and creative museum.nThere are many information about famous personalities in Sweden - brave and extraordinary ones. Something is told about ecology and nature. There are also exhibits of art and history.nThe entrance is free, so it is must-have-to-visit.

We visited for free and there were 2 exhibitions which impressed most. One was about John Bauer work, am immersive one. The second one was engaging as well, about different people from the past with interesting stories. A new approach to knowing a place by knowing history of its people, the me real, some partislly imagined. Totally recommended!
