Very friendly staffnThere's not much room to turn around in the warehouse area for a 25-meter-long truck.
I don't understand how they are still in business. The makeover from K-Rauta to K-Bygg is terrible. K-Rauta was always a little more expensive than other hardware stores, but they did have a good selection of quality products. K-Bygg has a terrible selection and the prices are crazy expensive. I needed 320 and 400 grit sandpaper. I had purchased this at K-Rauta previously. I went to K-Bygg and they now only carry up to 240 grit, and then 1500 and 2000 grit. Nothing in between! That is useless! If you are trying to sand something smooth, you cannot go from 240 grit to 1500 grit! The salesperson said K-Bygg no longer carries any of the in-between grits.nnI needed some superglue activator, which is a bit hard to find here. K-Bygg said they had some, so I went up to get it. They wanted SEK 569 for one 200 ml can of activator with 50 ml of glue!! The same package of 50 ml superglue and 200 ml can of activator at Biltema was SEK 54,90. That's a 1000% markup! Why would anyone pay SEK 569 for a little thing of superglue and activator?!nnI won't be going back, and I suspect it will only be a little while before this store is closing its doors permanently. It is too bad. K-Rauta was a decent store.
The entire store is under revamp, easier to find plus everything is clearly displayed. Reasonable prices and a super nice staff.nFor me first choice, when I need something related to what professionals use. //Stu
I like K-rauta, because they have a good range, for amateur to professional.nThey are certainly a little more expensive on the goods, but there has never been a problem returning goods, when it has been relevant.nThe staff has always been helpful, service friendly and pleasant.nCan really recommend a visit.
30-50% more expensive than everywhere else. Saw electrical tools 3000kr more expensive than other retailers. Hand tools more than half expensive than elsewhere. Insane.
