It’s a fantastic place to stay no matter you want to hike in the beautiful nature or just want to have a relaxing time in the middle of Sweden. Only a hour drive from Gothenburg. We visited right after new year and it was not very busy, which was great.nA lot of nice hiking trails near by. We were out hiking in the snow. Doing sauna and ice bath. Wonderful winter experiences.nTHE FOOD!! It was amazing, the best fish I have ever had.nStaff were very nice. I love this place and I will definitely go back with my family and friends during the summer.

My friend and I stayed here on a road trip, and stayed in our van. We decided to have a sauna, which was superb. Then we went for food and drinks, we were greeted by the lovely Anna, what a brilliant lady, we were made very welcome and the food was delicious. We had a great night and met a bunch of girls on a trip from Denmark. A brilliant evening and a comfortable and very pleasant stay. Great spot.

Absolutely loved our stay! All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place is quiet, peaceful, and has a lovely family atmosphere. The lake is stunning, and the value for money is outstanding. A truly beautiful spot that makes you want to come back again and again.

It’s a beautiful place, very nice staff but we missed a few things for the price of the hotel room during our one week stay:n- The room should be cleaned throughout the stay or at least all towels changed every two days it gets very sandy inside the roomsn- The dinner menu was not to our taste yes, subjective but it simply did not fit the setting and portions were sized for a 3-4 course menu, yet it’s only 1 coursen- Every activity is paid extra which would be okay if the rooms were cheaper but at the room rates we paid, 1 hour of sauna for 20$/€ per person just feels a bit steep although the view and jump in the lake is worth itnEnding this review on a positive note: We had a good time there, breakfast was good, the location has a very nice atmosphere and it was not overly crowded.

The scenery and drive up were lovely. Great spot. The nearby cross country ski takes are very good and the cost of renting equipment is very reasonable.
