The receptionist we talked with the first day was super nice, but was restricted in certain things we wanted. This was ok, of course.nnThe rooms were small, and cold. We turned on the radiator for heat, but it kept waking us up at night as it started making loud knocking noises. We were there two nights, but ended it sleep deprived from the stay.nnWe payed more than a decent amount for dinner one evening, and stayed eating there for almost two hours. Granted, this was valentines, and a buffet, but we asked for menus for drinks, and we got the menu. However, two hours later, no one, not one, server asked what we would like to order. This even though we were waiving for them every time we saw one. Keep in mind, we were nothing but polite the whole time. Maybe it had something to do with the bickering we overheard between the waiters… I don’t know.nnIn the end, we gave up, and decided we will never come back to this place. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely and cozy spa/relax. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back
Super kind service and flexibility around us bringing a baby. Clean, neat and quiet. So thankful for the kindness and smiles received at the reception!
The room wasn´t bad, but wasn´t very clean, and there were some small broken things. The spa is just ok, but I don´t think is worth the price.
Strömstad is a hole but I found on my second day of holiday this place. Amazing atmosphere, fair prices, delicious food, and great live music! This place has on Fridays everything you’d want for a perfect outing. The vibe is warm and welcoming, the food is full of flavor, the prices are more than reasonable, and the music sets just the right mood. Highly recommended! Thanks Arthur!
