We had the absolute best time thanks to incredible atmosphere and exceptional staff.nA wonderful wellness experience.nWe’ll give an extra star to Donald, the barkeep, for the best drinks and great service throughout our stay!
This is a very beautiful property tucked in in one of the cosy bays in the strømstad town. The property is modern and clean and comfortable.nGood breakfast. The spa was amazing when not overbooked, although in the evenings it was both overbooked with people loosing sense of privacy. It was awkward.nThe reception staff and the room service need to definitely pull up their socks. The constant long ques at the reception were proof of complaining guests.nThe issue of booking room cleaning BEFORE 10pm evening before is prepoustrous. A guest at the hotel should in least feel wanted and not a burden for expecting rooms to be cleaned daily.nI wouldnt mind guesting this property and hope to experience better service.
Good and romantic place to spend a day or two with your partner in, the spa is ok and full with relaxing and quiet places, the price is ok but maybe is too high considering the service you get from the spa. We got some fruit as complementary and some coffee with some cookies. The place is clean and the visitors are respectful. I enjoyed the visit in general but I don’t know if I will come back again in the future.
It’s mixed feeling about our stay here.We drove all the way from Oslo to here for a little get away. Little disappointment initially as we were given a wrong key card to a room which is already tenanted. We were embarrassed and the guest at the room were little annoyed but it’s very reasonable for them to be.nnRoom is very small for that price and it’s horrific that shower water flooding entire floor of the bathroom. Staying in that room somewhat was fortified feeling.nnRestaurant environment is amazing. Food presentation is nice but taste is bland. We ordered beef steak but almost inedible.nBar is amusing and bartender was super cool. Margarita was nicely blended and excellent collection of wine.nnWe shopped some products at the spa when we leave and lady there was incredible with giving detailed presentations of every product that we looked for with recommendations.She even took her time to give us a tour of the hotel surrounding, activities to do and showed us entire spa facilities if we visit again.nnSpa is enormous unfortunately we were not advised at check in which we we’re gutted greatly.they have paid parking facility. Overall it was not pleasant experience for us. Special thanks to lady at spa who helped us at the end. we left with melt disappointment with her absolute presentation. Overall we were not so pleased with our stay.
Arrived at 1500 and parking was easy to find and check in went smoothly.nnThe Deluxe room was large and has a nice ocean view. Spacious and has a bathtub.nnThe restaurant has either A La carte or buffet 595/adult or 195/child The Culinary experience was a 10/10n- Amazing seafood spread with Oysters, crayfish, shrimps and much more n- breakfast was a 10/10 as well diverse range of food that is high quality.nnThe Spa, this is an extra cost:n- children under 14 only allowed between 9-11amn- all entries need to be booked for a 2 hour time slot costing 295 regardless of age.n- even if you stay at the hotel, you have to pay for the spa for each entry. So that’s 590 Swedish crowns for two sessions.n- so it is a expensive add on like a low cost airline does with anything extra.nnOverall the spa has 3 Jacuzzis, one outside two inside. One big pool. Chill area. Three Saunas, 1 steam room, and foot spa bath areas. Not the biggest but pretty decent. 3.5/5nnThe premise itself is nice and surrounding area is pretty.
