Kullaberg's Vineyard

Wine making not very developed in Sweden, so interesting to come tonthis place as it is still experimental to some extent. The tour was booked easily online, it was 40 euros per person, 1.5 hours duration, 3 wines and a spirit tasted. The spirit was a surprise and very good. Use of English was great and the tour was interesting. No red ones produced for now. What was a strong point here was the explanations about the vineyard crops, how the cultures are managed, lots of interesting info given inside the actual vineyard. Price is larger than rest of Europe where at this amount you get more wines or some food as well. Beyond price and no of wines tasted, the production capabilities could not be visited and it is a pity, as this is an attraction for winery tours. No neutralizers provided bread? and the water was initially forgotten. There is a significant amount bt of product placement in the tour, to some degree it is understandable. Wines were rose/orange/white, the serving temperature was a bit higher than optimal probably. The white one was really good, the other two lower for our tastes, compared to continental Europe wines.

Up and coming winery, the third largest in Sweden. Produces good wines with high ambition and quality. A name to watch!

If you are into good food, wine and architecture - a tour to Kullabergs Vineyard is a must do thing when visiting Mölle, Arild or Höganäs. The crew is really ambitious, talented and engaged. This in combination with an owner who keeps on investing in this pearl of a vineyard creates something unique. And whats most important - the wines - are absolutely great and even by international standards the wines can stand up straight and compare to fine wines. Kullabergs have managed to find a unique expression of the local terroir. As a sommelier I have tried Most Swedish wines and in my view Kullabergs is the absolute top producer in Sweden - Well worth a detour.

Wonderful tour by felix in May. This is truly a gem to visit on your vacation. I can highly recommend you to pay a visit!
