We were here at the beginning of October. There was no waiting time, and it was completely empty.nnHowever, it is recommended to enter from the correct side.nnWe went through it 'backwards' and immediately had a lot of climbing right at the start.nnSturdy shoes and a sure footing are recommended here! This is not an easy hiking trail.nnDefinitely worth the experience!
If you are just passing by it's well worth a stop.nnJust seeing these enormous boulders suspended above you is kinda spectacular.
It's a really nice place to go. But even though Kungsklyftan is a must see and great in itself, seeing Fjallbacka is absolutely worth your time.
We came here around 1st week of July and it was quite a lot of tourist than I expected. It was also raining when we went and if you don’t have good shoes then it might be more slippery for you.
Fjallbakka is a nice little town located on the coast, so it offers nice views not only of the coast itself, but you can also see a lot of boats/yachts anchored here especially during summer season, we were here at the end of August when not many yachts have been anchored there.nIn this town there is a rocky hill called Vetterberget, where the Kungsklyftan fissure is located. Many people visit this place just for the fissure and the views from the hill. Keep in mind that the path up is quite steep and can be challenging for some. However, even if you don't make it up to the aforementioned fissure, don't despair, the town is nice in itself and you will enjoy walking around it. The views from the bottom of the hill are also interesting - you can see there typical Scandinavian houses with a majestic hill in the background - an ideal place for a photo.
