Lessebo Hand Paper Mill

It was a paper shop with some of the old machinery there. No signs which explain anything.nWe didn't go here at the tour at 1pm but only come for the tour. Without the tour it's literally a paper shop.

With the family annexantly rid of a hour, as the paper mill is open only in June. Please update your Google Maps location!

Together with a group of students, I've had the opportunity several times to lead a guided tour in German through the historic paper mill. The tour was very informative, engaging, and clearly presented. The students thoroughly enjoyed it every time. Even if no guided tour is offered, a visit is still worthwhile. Especially during the summer months, there's a good chance of witnessing the intricate process of papermaking firsthand; workshops are sometimes offered as well it's worth inquiring. I can also highly recommend a detour to Lessebo to visit the paper mill and the nearby lake to anyone passing through.

July 18, 2020 Interesting to get an insight into how high quality paper is made. Unfortunately, production was not running due to the holidays, but the film and an excellent guide provided sufficient understanding. Will make sure to visit when the plant is running on my next visit. Very good and friendly staff. Lots to buy in the shop.
