Lygnevi Camping

Location is very nice, the lake is near and a nice place for a swim. The campsite itself is fine, plenty of space for tents. The owner was kind and welcoming.nnHowever...nThe toilets are beneath human dignity. Portable toilets on a construction site are probably cleaner. The toilets look like they have not been cleaned since they were built. You can smell them from meters away, with the doors closed.nThere is only one shower, in a shed behind a moldy curtain.nWe're usually not very picky about the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities on a campsite but this was on another level.

Great area, amazing beach nearby with shallow sandy lake easy for kids and friendly people . It’s a small, simple, quiet camping but by far not luxurious. The amenities are quite basic but the location really rewards the ones that appreciate simplicity .

Beautiful place

A beautifully situated little campsite on a lake with a fantastic sandy beach. The water is shallow, making it suitable for children. Unfortunately, apart from a composting toilet, there are no sanitary facilities on the site itself. Two showers and two toilets are available at the adjacent sports field, about 150 to 300 meters away. A fully equipped kitchen is also available there. The campsite is mostly occupied by permanent campers; the rest share the few functioning pitches electricity isn't available everywhere. Important: payment is cash only, although they accept euros. For us, it was €30 for two people and a campervan. In conclusion: If you don't have high expectations and have everything you need on board toilet, shower, etc., this is a truly lovely spot.

The surroundings are beautiful, which is why it gets one star. The rest: the usher is taciturn, there are no restrooms, and no explanations.nnNothing more needs to be said.
