Sometimes you can't help but wonder what you pay at a campsite in a country that lets you wild camp.nEssentially you stay because you want a shower, decent toilet and washing up and washing machine facilities.nUnfortunately here they treat you like you're still 2 and can't pee.nNegative signs everywhere telling you how to pee, where not to pee. Where you can and can't brush your teeth. A chained off shower you have to step over to tell you to take your shoes off trip hazard!nnAnd when you do want to use the washing machine it's locked, you have to get a key from reception that doesn't open even during the 9-10 they say it will open and get change to use it from the reception that never opens.nWhen you ring, they say there isn't anyone on site to help.... And they want you pay to get hot water to hand wash instead. Err no thanks.nnIn short, if you want no customer service and grumpy signs telling you how to pee then stay here, otherwise drive further out to somewhere better.

This campsite was perfectly functional for everything we needed.nWe stayed here in our campervan for the night.nOK so it doesn’t have great views but had all the facilities we needed for a great stay.nThe pitch was adequate sized - they chose the pitch for you.nToilets clean and plenty of them.nShowers hot and powerful - the ladies ones, you could pay 10 krona for 8 mins in the end shower or use your pre loaded shower card for a shower for 5 minutes, the shower card is loaded at reception on arrival and you pay for what you use on leaving.nThe launderette was great - 40 krona for a 40 degree wash for an hour and 20 krona for 30 mins in the tumble dryer.nThe guy on reception was fantastic - excellent English and was really helpful to us which made the stay go seamlessly well.nThe location is great - walkable to the town and to get the ferry to the island.nWould stay again if visiting the area again.nThank you.

Can't say much about the camping itself because we didn't stay. We came by to see if we could use their laundry facilities and we only paid a small amount. The people at the reception were really kind and helping. The site itself looked really calm and pretty, good if you want a calm place to stay. There was also a playground for children. The location is great, it's on a small half-island which in itself is worth a visit for sure. Would recommend.

Very nice camping place in beautiful surroundings, nearby castle and climatic coast. Services kept niceally, very clean, music in toilets. Special room for tent users with TV for bad weather. Highly recommended.

Close to the city. Beatiful campsite. Clean showers.
