Malmö Castle

A wonderful place to spend time with family, friends or solo! This is a museum now with incredible works of art and displays, restaurant and aquarium. There is a gift shop, restrooms and lockers for your items while you enjoy the day. The restaurant prices are good with great portions of food and salad bar and drinks. Nice place to enjoy a meal. Lunch menu changes at 2:30 or 3 so plan accordingly. We went at lunch and it was amazing! This was a great stop. Enjoy!

It's a castle converted into a museum and art gallery. The old in stark comparison to the new. You can spend half a day or more here. There's a great display of modern art. Paintings, sculptures, and mixed media.nI found the dungeon to be the most interesting. It's located in the basement, so the air is cooler down there. No windows. You get to see just how small the holding cells were and view a wall of prisoner photos. The castle is surrounded by a lake, quite beautiful.

The castle appears quite ordinary from the outside, but the surrounding water adds a pleasant touch to the view. The museum inside has an entrance fee and offers insights into the castle’s history and cultural significance. However, the English translations could be improved, as relying on Google Translate makes it difficult to fully appreciate all the information.

A must when u visit Malmo. Just about 20 minutes walk from city center. The Cafe serves great Swedish Meatballs & Salads at very affordable price highly recommended. A great picture moments & a place to learn the history of Malmo.

Lived the meaning and purpose of the building, history of refuge and observatory of what lays in our skies. I couldn't dedicate enough time to sink into the history and science it offers. I would estimate at least 3 hours here
