The architecture is a great blend of brutalism and minimalism. Purchasing tickets is very easy machines are available in Swedish and English only. Trains pass through the station frequently, so you don’t have to wait a while. My train was less than 5 minutes delayed. There are also glass waiting rooms where you can stay warm while waiting for your train.
My sister and I visited here for the 2013 Eurovision song contest. What's particularly good are the restaurants and amenities surrounding the arena itself. The venue itself was fun and interesting though I'm not sure what actually is shown here bar music events outside of this. A good place to perhaps plan a trip around if you are visiting as Malmo is not really a major tourist location.
So I guess the train from malmo to Copenhagen on the evening of Eurovision was completely cancelled. This was of course not communicated by the security faculty. So 500+ people are stranded for hours in this place. Worst public transit I have seen in my life.
Okay for a train station, not as nicely designed as compared to Malmö or Triangeln station. Can get cold and very windy at times. Convenient location, fastfood and restaurants nearby, and many connections.
First station after the Øresund bridge. Big station, with lots of space. Have your passport/identity card ready, they check for these here. The station is close to a big shopping mall Emporia and a fantastic stadium Malmö Arena.
